Fall, just after a storm passed over the Rim, looking southeast from Bear Rocks Preserve.
#DS109: Pentax MZ-S, 20-35mm f/4 Pentax zoom (at about 30mm) at f/11 or 16, using a 3-stop split neutral density filter plus an 81B super multicoated (Hoya) warming filter, Fuji Provia 100F.

Early Fall, looking northeast at a Rim rock outcropping in Bear Rocks Preserve.
#DS113: Pentax MZ-S, 28-70mm f/2.8 Pentax zoom, using a 3-stop split neutral density filter plus an 81B filter, Fuji Provia 100F.



September, clouds move in creating a fog appearance, looking south along the Rim in the Bear Rocks Preserve. I spot metered on the fog and opened up one stop.

Fall, looking north along the Rim in Dolly Sods Scenic Area. Fog is moving in and out with westerly winds.
#DS115: Pentax LX, 24mm f/2 Pentax at f/16, 81B filter, Kodachrome 64. The 81B filter warms the fog beyond what is natural. My preference (81A) or no filter would have been better.


Early Fall, fogged in along the Rim in Bear Rocks Preserve.
